Colors play a very powerful role in fashion industry, fashion is about beauty and creativity. Strong and rich saturation of colors makes trends more warm and positive. 2012 is the season of not only glowing colors but also muted and metallic colors.
These past two seasons (spring and pre-fall ’12) have churned out some trends that are both futuristic and nostalgic at the same time. While it’s not entirely a Jetsons rerun, the collections did somehow meld together ultramodern silhouettes with stylistic touchstones from years past, in a way that felt exciting yet comfortable. And that brings us to the much-awaited color trends of 2012
From the runway reports for 2012, bright colors seems to be the must have colors. Grass green, Orange, Purples and Poppy Red are the colors for 2012. The designers seems to be inspired from spring’s colors, hope and fun, however classic looks and colors are also seen.
