Skin Care in Winter

Winter season is about to be on its peak. The favorite season of  most of us comes with many skin problems. If we do not take proper care of our skin in this season it’ll lead to us towards dull and dry skin. For many people winter bring uncomfortable dryness to the skin of the face, hands, and feet. For some people, the problem is worse than just a general tight, dry feeling: They get skin so dry it results in flaking, cracking, even eczema (in which the skin becomes inflamed). However, taking a bit of care of your skin can make it flawless and you can enjoy your winter more. Lots of moisturizers are available in market that you can use according to your skin type. Here are some treatments, with natural ingredients, that you can do at your home.

  • Apply skin lotion immediately after you bathe or shower, while the skin is still damp.
  • Do not lessen the quantity of water intake in winter.
  • Take warm milk with 2 tea spoons on honey in it daily.
  • Make paste of apricot and olive oil and apply on face, hands and feet for 15 minutes, rinse with tab water. Its good for both wrinkles and dry skin
  • Make paste of milk, honey and almonds and apply on face hands and feet as a mask for 10-15 minutes. Rinse by rubbing gently with moist cloth or hands.
  • Make a paste of almonds and rose petals and apply on you skin.
  • Use red lentils (pulse) powder with yogurt to apply on your skin.
  • Take milk bath, its best for skin of your body.
  • Massage your body for 10 minutes with mixture of orange juice and honey, its good for your nails too.
  • the best moisturizer for you skin is, paste of 1banana. 1 tea spoon of honey, lemon juice of 1 lemon and 1 table spoon of butter, beat the mixture properly, massage it well, apply for two hours then wash it with tab water. You have never experienced the tender that you will after applying this moisturizer.
  • Rub tomato pulp on your face, it absorbs dust from you face, also its good for black heads. tomato pulp is good in summer as well.
  • No, sunscreen isn’t just for summertime. Winter sun — combined with snow glare — can still damage your skin. Try applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen to your face and your hands (if they’re exposed) about 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply frequently if you stay outside a long time.
